History
The founding partners of Maher Duessel had a vision; to focus on providing highly-specialized auditing and tax services to non-profit and government organizations. This vision began with two entrepreneurs from a large national accounting firm that recognized a void in this practice area and a lack of personalized service. Since 1989, passion and commitment has grown Maher Duessel to a leading regional public accounting firm with over 70 professionals in Pittsburgh, Butler and Harrisburg serving hundreds of clients.
Not only is Maher Duessel committed to its clients through the services provided, the firm actively contributes time and efforts to support missions and fundraising efforts. A portion of Maher Duessel’s revenue is donated to worthy causes and events as well as personal time and participation. It’s Maher Duessel’s way of showing appreciation to clients for what they strive to do each day to better the lives of others.
