Betsy began her career with Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young) and joined Maher Duessel in 1991. She became a shareholder at Maher Duessel in 1999 and specializes in the areas of non-profit, governmental and pension accounting. She serves as the Partner-in-Charge of Non-Profit Services for Maher Duessel, and also leads the Employee Benefit Team.
Her clients include social service and religious organizations as well as educational institutions, foundations and arts groups. Betsy’s expertise also extends into the governmental arena. These clients range in size from under $1 million in revenue to over $100 million in revenue.
