Amy C. Lewis, CPA

Personal Information

What inspired you to choose a career in public accounting?
Honestly, I joined public accounting solely to get my CPA license. Had you told me back then, that I’d still be in public accounting 20 years later, I wouldn’t believe you. But my time with Maher Duessel has been filled with so many great experiences, people, and memories, there has never been a reason to leave. I am proud of the work we do and the organizations and people we work with, and I am so grateful for this career.

What makes Maher Duessel a great place to work?
The people I work with, both internally and externally, are truly outstanding. There are some really wonderful, kind-hearted, hard-working, and dedicated people in my network, and I love the relationships I have cultivated through my career at Maher Duessel.

What advice would you give to someone joining Maher Duessel fresh out of college?
Be kind and work hard. I have never been disappointed by someone who carries these traits.
