Personal Information

What inspired you to choose a career in public accounting?
I had a wonderful accounting professor that inspired me to pursue public accounting. I actually started college as a political science major, but once I began taking her accounting classes, her enthusiasm for debits and credits had me hooked!

When I am not crunching numbers I am…
Spending time with my two young children and likely planning our next family vacation to Disney World.

If I were not an accountant my dream job would be?
I would be a travel agent. I love learning about different countries, and I enjoy planning the trip just as much as I enjoy taking the trip.

Natalie began her public accounting career in 2011 with Maher Duessel, and she was named a Principal of the firm in 2024.  Natalie manages a wide range of governmental and non-profit audit/tax engagements including human service agencies, county entities, municipalities, and faith based organizations. She has extensive knowledge in Single Audit compliance.
